Youth and Women Empowerment Centre (YOWEC)

Youth and Women Empowerment Centre (YOWEC) is a nonprofit based in Port Harcourt. Since 2004, we have worked with young people, women and communities in the Niger Delta to widen access to education, practical skills and opportunities to build livelihoods.

YOWEC Microfinance Institute is the financial inclusion unit of the Youth and Women Empowerment Centre. Its work focuses on improving access to financial services for underserved people and small businesses.
